Wilson Modern Colonial Kitchen

The kitchen – the heart of the home – the spot everyone will surely be crowding into this holiday weekend. We’re coming up on one year in the #wilsonmoderncolonial and our kitchen continues to be one of my absolute favorite rooms in the house. It was surprisingly the easiest space in our house for me to design – I knew exactly what I wanted. The classic white cabinets are dressed up with beautiful bronze pulls, and I upgraded the look of classic subway tile by using this gorgeous marble tile from Ann Sacks.¬†And I can’t forget our DCS appliances — their luxurious look takes what could be a major eyesore in the kitchen and creates a beautiful statement. Can’t wait to spend the Thanksgiving weekend¬†gathered here with family and friends!

Hey Caitlin: love your kitchen! I do have 2 questions for you: 1. where do you get appliance pulls? I have cabinetry on my fridge and dishwasher and it has been hard to find. 2. i am trying to replace hardware in our kitchen and i love the bin pulls above but how do you install these when there is already holes in the cabinets and the nails aren’t deep enough? our house is brand new but i am trying to keep the cabinets and just replace the hardware. do i need to use a bar pull instead that has longer screws and a nut to hold in place?

    thanks so much,
    rachel (from seattle)
