Color is the foundation of our creative process. Before we start designing we scour for inspiration, often times finding it in unexpected places. Here are a few of our favorite French finds and the doorway to our latest French Collection!

Mother’s Day may be just around the corner, but it’s never too late to treat mom to something special! Nothing gets me more excited as a mom than a moment of relaxation complemented by my favorite scent. This Mother’s Day my go to gift for all of the amazing mamas in my life is Voluspa’sCasa Pacifica Candle.
The scent blends hints of California driftwood, sea salt and shore brush and always has me dreaming of warm weather and days spent at the beach.
I’m a bit obsessed with Voluspa’s packaging and always find ways to reuse their gorgeous containers! The Casa Pacifica Candle’s serene blue exterior paired with the gold interior will soon house my favorite jewelry pieces!
I hope this inspires you to find your own go to Voluspa scent. Happy Mother’s Day!
When we first moved into our new home, one of my main missions was to find an affordable leather sofa for our bonus room. I installed navy plaid carpet in the room to give it a rich, masucline vibe so I wanted a complementing, lighter leather to soften the space.
A few weeks into my quest, I found the Sven Charme Sofa from Bryght. I was immediately drawn to the light buttery saddle color and clean modern lines. Ordering a sofa online without being able to test it for comfort definitely made me nervous, but after reading all of the positive customer reviews I took a leap of faith and ordered it. Luckily, it lived up to the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and soft the leather was and you really can’t beat the price!
I love the midcentury shape because it’s stylish enough on its own yet versatile enough to add pillows to give it a different look. I’ve been playing around with different pillow combinations and I have to admit, the possibilities are endless with this sofa!
My family couldn’t be happier with Bryght’s Sven Sofa, we love to cuddle up on the weekends for movie night and the day to day wear with kids has been great!
As a business owner and mother of 3 young children, I’ve come to learn that I need to carve out time each week to focus on my health, so I can lead a balanced and happier lifestyle. My intention with today’s post is to share my experience with Barre3 and their January Challenge. I am hoping it will inspire all of you to give it a try!
I am a firm believer and faithful Barre3 client. Every time I go to a Barre3 studio, I leave feeling rejuvenated and happy because of the positive atmosphere and invigorating workout. It is the perfect workout that gives you results, without over-exhausting your body.
Kicking off 2016 with the support and guidance of Sadie Lincoln and the Barre3 team has given me the motivation to continue to grow my Barre3 practice beyond the January challenge. Barre3 Online is a great way for me to get my workout in on the days that I don’t have time to go to a studio. If I am ever crunched on time or traveling for work, I use the barre3 app, which I can easily access on my phone. I am able to squeeze 2 of their ‘on the go’ 10 minute workouts in when I can. Even a 10 minute workout leaves me feeling stronger!
Thank you to everyone who joined me in the January challenge! If you missed it, it’s not too late to join the Barre3 movement. The Challenge Hub is live now through the end of February which you can access by subscribing to Barre3 Online!
And last but not least…. the winner of the January Challenge is @tbrusky! Congratulations!! Your CW pillows, Barre3 promo code, and workout gear are on their way!

Our favorite design projects all include hints of metallic touches. Metallics are one of the few things that stays on trend way beyond the holiday season. We use them to enhance natural lighting, modernize a traditional space, or to simply add a touch of glimmer to a neutral palette. Below we’re sharing the inside scoop on decorating with metallics!
For a more cohesive look, layer a neutral wall with your favorite metallic hue. Offset your brass with Black Buffalo Check and BOOM… you have a sophisticated accent wall!
Today we’re sharing a few of our favorite photos from our studio tour shoot with Domino Magazine! Since expanding into rugs, wallpaper and furniture we had to rework our existing studio layout to accommodate the space and storage needed for our growing business. Head over to Domino to read the full story. We hope our studio inspires you to get creative with your own workspace!
It’s important to organize your products and materials efficiently and beautifully when your studio doubles as your warehouse!
Today we’re sharing one of our favorite spaces from our Arizona Street of Dreams project. The space was designed for one of our client’s daughters and we were thrilled to be able to give her a fun new bedroom! Our goal for the space was to layer it with items that could grow with her into her tweens and teens.
We upholstered the headboard in a large scale floral print and accented it with crisp white bedding with a navy border.
Throughout the room we incorporated modern lucite & brass accents to give it a more modern & timeless look.
We decided to continue the floral print into the bathroom and it was one of the best decisions we made! For the vanity, we went with a rich indigo color that compliments the blue tones in the wallpaper. Brass fixtures, lucite drawer pulls and light countertops were the finishing touches to tie the room together.
These past few weeks have been full of creative #shareyourcwt posts! It’s always so inspiring to see how you have incorporated our products into your designs. Here are a few of our favorites! Enjoy and don’t forget to #shareyourcwt!
Brass is back and with it came the many questions about mixing finishes, so today we’re tackling them head on! We hope our guide to mixing finishes will inspire you to be daring with metals in a sophisticated and layered approach!
A good place to start is to consider how metal finishes look with other colors in your space. Use the color scheme of your space as a guide. For example, a neutral room with light walls and bright white cabinetry is our favorite place to use vibrant bronze as the dominant finish. A bright white space with a mix of gold tones and stainless steel with an added pop of brushed nickel creates a visually yet sophisticated space.
If gold is the dominant finish in your space don’t be afraid to mix shiny and matte textures together. We are all about layering a space with a variety of gold tones and textures!
In a space dominated by dark cabinetry, try using contrasting metals like, brushed nickel and burnished antique. To break up the brushed textures, offset the space with a shiny chrome faucet.
Mix between 2-4 metal finishes
Rule of thirds: 2/3 dominate finish, 1/3 contrasting finish.
We are all about mixing metals but your hinges and door hardware should match each other
If you are too afraid of mixing metals try mixing the texture of your finishes i.e. gilded, hammered, brushed, polished, etc.
We’d love to hear your favorite ways to mix metals! Please share them in the comments section below!
